Salt Concentrates is an installation created by Annette Manning and Will Gill. This is their first project together. The inspiration is salt and water. The space created is a purgatory where purification and transformation happen. Human flotsam and jetsam (tampon applicators, clay dolls, plastic bullet shells, toys) is crystallized and hang, float, entangled in a fabricated, net/bridge. This show resonates sadness, loss and hope through regeneration.
